Hi my name is Dr. Sonja Warren. I am currently serving as the school counselor at the Wylie Primary Campus. I have severed as an educator in public education for over 18 years. I hold a Bachelor of Education Degree from The University of Texas at Tyler, a double Masters in Educational Leadership and Curriculum & Instructions from LeTourneau University in Longview, Texas and a Doctorate in Early Childhood Education. I also serve as a College Professor in the Teacher Education Department at LeTourneau University. My husband Marlos and I, are the proud parents of two children: Marlos Warren II and Jeremy Warren. 
 
As the School Counselor, I have the pleasure of implementing a comprehensive guidance curriculum that incorporates the Six Pillars of Character: Responsibility, Respect, Caring, Citizenship, Fairness, Trustworthiness. I also provide support services, Individual Planning and Responsive Services at Wylie Primary. I believe in the importance of character development, social skills, emotional growth, and community involvement. My goal is to work in collaboration with our administrators, staff, parents, and community to help create a caring and supportive environment by setting high expectations for all students.

Donna Dean is a Henderson native and graduated from Henderson High School in 1970. She attended Kilgore College and graduated from Stephen F Austin University in 1974 with a Bachelor of Science in Education. Her major was Social and Rehabilitation Services and Sociology and she minored in Psychology. After graduation Donna worked 7 years for the Department of Human Services as a Financial Case Worker. She began working for Henderson ISD in 1989. Donna’s current job assignment is At-Risk Coordinator/Community Service Coordinator. She is married to Chipper Dean, another Henderson native, and has 3 children, Hayley, Ryan, and Evan. Her hobbies are being with her family, yard work, and reading.
