Wylie Primary hosted "Muffins with Military" this morning for active or retired Military who have students at the campus. We are so honored to have had these visitors on campus and are thankful for their service to our country!
We also had a small group of students who went to Henderson Health and Rehab to visit with Veterans and show our appreciation for them!

Tomorrow is the last day for the canned food drive! Staff and students have loved seeing all of the creative boxes that were made for each classroom to store cans. Congratulations to Ms. Lebeck's class and Mrs. Lorin's class for winning the Canned Food Drive Box Contest!

Join us for this fun event! This is a night for parents, students, and staff to get to hang out, play some games, and grab a bite to eat!

How do you make learning math a little sweeter? Mrs. King and Mrs. Reynolds use cookie cake to teach all about triangles!

The Henderson Rotary Club has been been raising funds to help in the effort of reducing Polio since 1985. It costs approximately $1.00 to immunize one child from Polio so students had the opportunity to donate and have a fingernail painted purple. These are just a FEW of the students who got to participate in Purple Pinkie Day at Wylie Primary!

The Big Kahuna Party bus and snow cones from Kona Ice for students that completed their fundraiser goals!

Power has been restored at all HISD campuses.

Due to a city power outage are Northside and high school campuses are without power. Please do not pick up children at this time as we were expecting the power to come back on shortly. HHS students in dual credit will be released for their dual credit classes as normal, since the dual credit facility currently has power. We'll update you with more information when it becomes.

Red Ribbon Week is happening at Wylie Primary next week!
