Mrs. Quintanilla's bilingual Pre-K class demonstrated and taught a dance called "La Raspa de Limon" to the other pre-k classes! They all had so much fun watching and learning!

For those of you who didn't know Mr. Hartenstein, he was known to Wylie Primary as "Mr. H" or "The Book Man." He periodically dropped by our campus to deliver and sometimes read books to our students. Sadly, Mr. H passed away last month and his wife did not want his book collection to go to waste. She called the Kiwanis Club to see if they would be interested in helping find his books a good home. They immediately thought Wylie Primary would benefit. This morning, the Kiwanis Club delivered over 100 books! We are so grateful for Mr. H and the Kiwanis Club. We are so excited that all of these books will be read by our students!

Pre-K classes have been learning the differences between mammals and reptiles this week. Ms. Angela brought her pet bearded dragon from home to show students an example of a reptile!

This morning we held our Kindergarten Academic Pep-Rally for the 3rd 9 weeks! Students that have demonstrated various skills and characteristics were recognized with an award during the pep-rally! We are so proud of all of our student's hard work!
