This morning we held our Kindergarten Academic Pep-Rally for the 3rd 9 weeks! Students that have demonstrated various skills and characteristics were recognized with an award during the pep-rally! We are so proud of all of our student's hard work!
Here are our March Super Cubs! These students are hard-working, respectful, kind friends, responsible, and all-around model students. Way to go, friends!

While rain is causing some flooding and power outages in portions of Rusk County, all HISD campuses are open. We know some staff and students live in or must drive through the areas impacted by last night’s storms and encourage all to be cautious when traveling this morning.
HISD is closely monitoring the developing weather across our area. We currently do not anticipate any major impact for our schools. Should the situation change, we will notify parents and staff. Please stay safe this evening.

Our latest School Scoop with some important dates!
Who are WatchDOGS? Fathers, grandfathers, step-fathers, uncles, and other father figures of Wylie Primary students who volunteer to serve at school to hang out with our students! WatchDOG dads and volunteers perform a variety of tasks during their volunteer day including monitoring the school entrance, assisting with unloading and loading of buses and cars, monitoring the lunch room, or helping in the classroom with a teacher’s guidance by working with small groups of students on homework, flashcards, or spelling.

Spring Break is coming up!
